The area of Ponza covers a little more than 7 km in total, with a single road that runs from south to north, connecting the various hamlets. From June to September, internal mobility is regulated with three limited traffic zones (ZTL=Zona Traffico Limitato) which severely limit it. For this reason, the advice is to embark with the car only if strictly necessary, taking into account that there are many possibilities offered to tourists to move around the island.
